Jared Smith is originally from Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania and moved to San Francisco in 2014. He is an artist and tattoer. He completed a tattoo apprenticeship with Tex Buss and currently works out of her beautiful shop, Authentic Tattoo.
Authentic Tattoo is a custom tattoo studio located at 1509 Church Street in San Francisco. Tattoos are performed by appointment only.
Jared is enamored with Japanese art and history. Every piece of art he creates is heavily researched, to ensure the details are authentic and accurate. He travels to Japan yearly to enjoy art, food and experience Japanese culture first hand.
